The cool, dry air of AC can dry the mucous membrane and increase the possibilities of flu, cold, and other chronic illness. That’s why in this pandemic situation, doctors recommend not to use ACs all day.

Although you may come out from this problem by keeping a water pot in the room, water quickly evaporated as in a dry environment. Also, drinking more water can save you from dehydration.

Positive side of using a AC

Now, we should look at the benefits of the controlled use of air conditioners. Although there are many harmful impacts on our health, the cool air of an AC can enhance our working ability. Research had done on this in 2019 by an educational organization “Online Typing.org.” They commence an experiment on a total of 60 students. First, they divided the students into two groups and trained them to type fast. After 30 days of practicing on the same content and appear on the same exercises, they found that the performance of those students who set in a cool room is better than the other students. Although, the students have almost the same IQ level and learning ability.
